At-Home Blood Tests

Unfortunately, RAMQ does not cover sampling carried out by Medi Labs. However, most private insurance and group insurance providers cover between 80% and 100% of the costs charged for an at-home blood test. If you are covered by this type of provider, we recommend you contact them before making an appointment with the Medi Labs Clinic. You can find out more about the percentage refunded for private commercial lab analyses. When the nurse has finished collecting your samples, she will charge you for costs incurred. You can pay with a Visa or MasterCard, Interac, or cash. The nurse will then give you a receipt that you can send to your insurance company for your claim.
