At-Home Blood Tests

The Medi Labs Clinic blood sample collection services are not reimbursed by RAMQ. However, private laboratory tests are covered by most group insurance or private insurance companies. The refund normally covers between 80% and 100% of the cost of a blood sample collection. Before making an appointment with the Medi Labs Clinic, please contact your insurance company. Users should look into the refund policies for private commercial lab analyses and the percentage of that is reimbursed. After your blood sample is collected, the nurse will charge you for the sample and give you a receipt that you can then send to your insurance company for your refund. You can pay with Visa, MasterCard, cash or Interac.
